Chautauqua Talk by Dr. Jack Gilbert on Sept 24th
Please mark your calendar for Dr. Jack Gilbert’s talk on the Microbiome on Sept 24, as part of the Chautauqua Lecture series. The talk will be a ‘TED’ style talk entitled What If We Can Use Bacteria to Make Hospitals Heathier? The Invisible Influence of the Microbiome. Dr. Gilbert is a microbial ecologist who in part employs ecological principles to better understand and improve human health. The talk will be in O’Donnell Hall in the Whitlock Building at 7:30pm. In addition, EKU faculty and students are welcome at an informal discussion held in Crabbe Library Room 201 from 4:45-5:45 pm, prior to the dinner and lecture.
