The Department of Biological Sciences offers three separate undergraduate BS degrees in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, and Wildlife Management, and the MS degree in Biology. We have over 500 undergraduates majoring in one of our many concentrations within our majors, including Aquatic Biology; Biology Teaching, Biodiversity and Conservation; and General Biology within the Biology degree and Pre-Medical, Pre-Veterinary, Pre-Dental, Pre-Physician Assistant, Pre-Optometry, and Biomedical Research within the Biomedical Sciences degree. Approximately 40 MS graduate students in our thesis and non-thesis tracks are involved in our General Biology or Applied Ecology concentrations. We also support non-thesis students in the Bioinformatics program.
